| IMPERIAL MISTAAR (Imperial Baarez x Imperial Mistilll by *Jamilll) 2002 bay. We first saw Imperial Mistaar when he stormed into the ring at the 2005 Egyptian Event. We had no idea who he was but knew he was the kind of horse we wanted to use in our breeding program the minute we saw him. When we found out that he was a son of Imperial Baarez, a stallion we had fallen in love with when we first saw him as a young colt, we were delighted. But when we learned his dam was the exquisite Imperial Mistilll, a mare we had always wanted to incorporate as one of our tail female lines, we were just absolutely overjoyed as the tail female is always our "deal maker or breaker". We immediately sought out his owner Polly Schaefer and told her we wanted to breed to her horse. From there it was a logical next step to become a part of the Imperial Mistaar LLC and make a real commitment to Mistaar. Since then we have seen so many exceptional offspring by Mistaar that we are convinced we made the right decision when we jumped on board based only on that "follow your heart" intuition that told us this would be a great show horse and sire. We have had three beautiful colts by him so far and will be breeding several mares to him in the future in the hopes of getting fillies for the broodmare band.
