HMT SYLVANNA (The Minstril x HMT Amreeka by Alidaar) 1995 grey. Sylvanna is a tall, elegant version of her exceptional two-time Egyptian Event Reserve World Champion dam. Sylvanna herself is unshown due to a serious leg injury but she will now get a chance to make her mark as a broodmare. This mare's tail female is a rare and highly sought line that traces to the Dahmah mare, Farida, via the exquisite Gleannloch import, *Ghazalahh. Her granddam Ibn Galal I-16 (sired by Hanan's son Ibn Galal I at Babolna, adding another unique European line) is the only source of this particular tail female combination in the US. Sylvanna is very feminine and deserty with beautiful big black eyes, small tippy ears and a very tiny muzzle. Her neck is perfectly set while long and arched and she has a good topline and legs. She moves with grace and straight tail carriage. Sylvanna's sire, The Minstril, is Ruminaja Ali's most significant straight Egyptian son and is renowned as a sire of top broodmares as well as being the sire of the number one Egyptian stallion in the world, Thee Desperado.
